Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area (or equivalent), and approximately 4 to 6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • A bachelor’s degree is required with at least three years work experience in maintenance and security of information technology systems.
  • Strong understanding of federal government business operations and work processes.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related tools; advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; and familiarity with Publisher and Adobe.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Location: Seattle, Washington; travel as coordinated with technical point of contact is allowed.
  • Work shall be conducted at CONUS/OCONUS - Seattle, WA.
  • Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; proficient in Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
  • Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems.
  • Performs system backups and recovery.
  • Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
  • Support requirements for Program Support and the Systems Administrator role.
  • Provide management support to collect, evaluate and test financial data for recurring departmental processes and reviews; summarize issues and findings clearly.
  • Lead or direct others as needed; contribute to projects with a degree of creativity and latitude.
  • Conduct periodic reconciliation reviews of external interfaces with various field offices to identify and correct data gaps, financial discrepancies and errors.
  • Work with a variety of IT systems to provide multi-functional Enterprise Services Staff Support Services.
  • Provide acquisition support for bureaus across information technology, financial management, human resources, program management, economic analysis, executive support and administrative support.
  • Demonstrate strong presentation skills and communicate effectively orally and in writing to support standard services across the Department.
