About the job

Requirements
  • Three to five years of experience in business-to-consumer telecom, internet service provider, or fiber-to-the-home sales, with practical understanding of door-to-door and inside sales and direct experience knocking doors or dialing leads in the industry.
  • High proficiency in door-to-door canvassing and territory management software such as Spotio, Terros, or SalesRabbit, and modern customer relationship management systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho; ability to read a territory map and identify skipped houses.
  • Track record of delivering sales playbooks, running training classes, and coaching representatives one-on-one in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to hold representatives and supervisors accountable to coaching metrics and operational standards without direct authority.
  • Ability to translate raw door-knock data, contact rates, and conversion metrics into actionable coaching.
Responsibilities
  • Run and refine the 30-60-90 day onboarding program for door-to-door and inside sales representatives, decreasing time to first sale through roleplay, fiber-to-the-home product education, and objection-handling drills.
  • Ensure full adoption of Terros, training representatives to log dispositions, drop pins, manage daily territory, and provide clean, actionable operational data.
  • Support sales supervisors with structured one-on-one meetings, productive field ride-alongs, and coaching representatives out of slumps.
  • Deliver ongoing competitive intelligence training, teaching representatives to perform bill teardowns and counter legacy cable promotions and upload bottlenecks, as well as the unreliability of digital subscriber line service.
  • Execute data-driven SPIFFs aligned with company goals, including increasing take rates in newly activated fiber areas, reviving dark doors, and promoting multi-gigabit tiers.
  • Work with the inside sales team to refine call scripts, speed-to-lead cadences, and objection handling for inbound calls and warm leads.
  • Roll out specialized door-to-door tactics to increase sales and subscriber growth in multi-dwelling units with secured right-of-entry agreements.
  • Train the team to run targeted win-back campaigns using inside sales dialing and door drops to recover non-payment disconnects and seasonal churners.
  • Train field representatives on the Home Tech Program, including streaming education, cord-cutting guidance, and whole-home Wi-Fi solutions.
  • Travel regularly for meetings, training, projects, client meetings, or outreach activities, up to 25% of the time.
  • Work Monday through Friday during normal business hours, with weeknight and weekend availability as needed.
