Senior .NET Engineer
About the job
- At least 5 years of experience specializing in backend .NET software engineering and system architecture for enterprise-level platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of C#, .NET Framework or .NET Core, ASP.NET WebAPI, and RESTful Web Services.
- Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, T-SQL optimization, and ORM or data access frameworks such as NHibernate and Dapper.
- Experience implementing asynchronous messaging patterns using Azure Service Bus.
- Background in Scrum methodology and ability to break complex backend epics into modular, deliverable stories.
- Fluent verbal and written English for direct technical collaboration.
- Architect and develop enterprise-grade, multi-tier backend services and web APIs using .NET, C#, ASP.NET WebAPI, and OWIN.
- Optimize and scale data layers, ORM integrations, and relational database systems using MS SQL Server, NHibernate, and Dapper.
- Conduct technical research with Solution Architects to establish backend patterns, evaluate tools, and enforce enterprise coding standards.
- Integrate and maintain event-driven messaging pipelines and integration protocols using Azure Service Bus and RESTful architecture.
- Deliver production-ready features each Sprint through continuous integration, automated builds with TeamCity and Octopus Deploy, and Unit and Integration Testing using ReSharper and dotCover.
- Collaborate in a Scrum environment by refining user stories into deliverable backend tasks and conducting peer code reviews.
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL database integration using MongoDB.
- Familiarity with dotCover and ReSharper for code coverage and static analysis.
- Understanding of microservices architectural patterns and containerization using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Experience with Azure pipelines for CI/CD.
- Knowledge of server-side scripting with Node.js or light configuration management tools.
