  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or another related discipline is required.

Responsibilities
  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identifying program problems and obtaining solutions such as resource allocation or changes to contractual obligations.
  • Act as the primary or secondary customer contact for program activities and lead program review sessions covering performance metrics, cost, and schedules.
  • Provide oversight of program cost, schedule, and technical performance while meeting customer commitments.
  • Develop resource estimates and plan integrated program team workload, establishing direction to balance program priorities.
  • Collaborate with military leadership, customers, worldwide product teams, business development, contracts, legal and compliance, manufacturing, and research and development stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate cost, schedule, manpower, and performance risks throughout the program life cycle.
  • Coordinate with contracts on negotiations, contract requirements, changes, and interpretations, and coordinate with other departments to resolve contractual problems with customers.
  • Ensure contract requirements are executed in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies and procedures, including Federal Acquisition Regulations.
  • Lead preparation of company responses to military solicitations, requests for information, and designated proposals, as well as business-capture strategy and execution.
  • Present comprehensive product business plans to the executive team for review and approval.
  • Keep the executive team informed about current and anticipated military programs, trends, and intercompany developments.
  • Drive execution and delivery of accurate and timely requests for bids and information.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.
  • Travel between buildings and to other locations as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • An MBA or equivalent degree is highly preferred.
  • Prior military or Department of Defense experience is preferred.
  • Business development experience is preferred.
  • Program Management Professional or Defense Acquisition University certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management is a plus.
  • The ability to analyze market trends, conduct competitor analysis, and identify market gaps to drive sustainable growth is desirable.
