  • At least 2 years of experience supporting software-as-a-service customers, with experience in customer service, account management, or a similar role.
  • Previous property management experience with knowledge of property management system platforms, maintenance workflows, work orders, vendor coordination, and service delivery processes is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Track open tickets on behalf of Client Success Managers to ensure they are resolved.

  • Quality-assure every setup before go-live by confirming accounts, permissions, integrations, and configurations are complete.
  • Manage ongoing configuration for clients using only comma-separated-value files, escalating volume or complexity issues to the Client Success Manager.
  • Run post-launch 30-day, monthly, and quarterly audits covering setup accuracy, adoption, and usage trends.
  • Investigate integration logs to resolve data discrepancies between AppWork and the client’s property management system.
  • Audit account access and Make Ready Board configurations, and surface findings and recommended fixes to the Client Success Manager.
  • Prepare and quality-assure weekly portfolio Insight Report emails for assigned clients before distribution.
  • Handle inbound client calls and HubSpot chat, providing live troubleshooting and refresher training.
  • Cover Client Success Manager email and ticket queues during paid time off or travel to maintain client continuity.
  • Run adoption outreach, including AppWork Obsession Plan calls and post-launch check-ins.
  • Build client-facing training and certification content and internal knowledge base articles for the Client Success team.
  • Build and iterate on artificial-intelligence-powered tools and workflows that improve team efficiency.
Desired Qualifications

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • AppWork raised $7 million in March 2026 after 200% 2025 growth.
  • The July 1, 2026 Top Maintenance Rating expansion to 200 winners increases brand reach.
  • Propexo and refreshed PMS syncs in 2026 strengthen stickiness across operators' daily maintenance operations.

What critics are saying

  • Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, and AppFolio can bundle maintenance features and crush pricing.
  • AppWork depends on deep PMS integrations; any API restriction breaks workflows and sales.
  • If multifamily operators standardize on one PMS suite, AppWork becomes a replaceable point solution.

What makes AppWork unique

  • AppWork replaces Yardi, RealPage, Entrata maintenance modules with a purpose-built workflow layer.
  • July 2026 Propexo integration puts AppWork maintenance data into Snowflake, BigQuery, and Databricks.
  • Its mobile-first stack covers work orders, make-ready, inspections, technician scoring, and resident ratings.

AppWork raises $7M to advance AI-powered multifamily maintenance solutions

The round follows a $13 million Series A in 2025, bringing total recent investment to $20 million after the company achieved over 200% growth. The startup's mobile-first platform helps multifamily property owners and operators manage maintenance operations, addressing technician shortages and rising service demands. Appwork automates the maintenance lifecycle to reduce backlogs and improve resident satisfaction. The new capital will fund AI initiatives, product innovation and team expansion in engineering and client success. Since launching in 2022, Appwork has been adopted by NMHC Top 50 operators and mid-market property managers seeking to modernise maintenance operations and protect net operating income.
