About the job

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • At least 10 years of experience in product management, product operations, transformation, or program leadership within a software- or technology-intensive organization is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role building and managing teams and direct reports is required.
  • A demonstrated track record of installing new operating models and driving adoption across multiple teams is required.
  • Curiosity about and familiarity with AI tools as they relate to product management, design, and engineering is required.
  • Strong command of agile software delivery across Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, including supporting rituals, metrics, and tooling, is required.
  • Deep familiarity with modern product management practice and the full product lifecycle, from discovery through delivery, is required.
  • Experience defining KPIs and OKRs and building executive-level reporting, roadmaps, and portfolio governance is required.
  • The candidate must be able to own ambiguity, set direction, hold senior product and engineering leaders accountable, and remain engaged in detail.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility will be verified at hire.
Responsibilities
  • Build, lead, mentor, and develop the product operations and transformation function, fostering ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement across squads.
  • Own the operating model and portfolio governance as a matrixed function, setting cadence, metrics standards, and tooling standards across squads, backed by a budget.
  • Manage the directly owned team creating shared tools; conduct reviews, provide regular feedback, support professional growth, and handle hiring, onboarding, and training.
  • Over time, transition toward owning the product side of one or more delivery squads as a Group Product Manager.
  • Drive rollout of Ford Pro's Domain/Squad operating model, define squad-formation best practices, and work with Domain leads to establish ownership, dependencies, and accountability in a decentralized structure.
  • Train teams on the new process, ensure they understand and follow it, and manage change with attention to team experience.
  • Identify what works and does not across teams, codify best practices, and share them across squads.
  • Support adoption of AI-intensive software and product practices, including AI-assisted discovery, competitive research, customer insight mining, prototyping, and delivery.
  • Partner with engineering and product leaders to identify where AI skills and agentic workflows can reduce overhead; consolidate practices and create repeatable playbooks and enablement.
  • Map AI adoption and delivery to business value to inform planning and investment decisions, and translate findings into executive-ready narratives and readouts.
  • Build toward automating manual synthesis and reporting, including feedback aggregation, support-ticket and review theme extraction, release notes, experiment summaries, and dashboards.
  • Design, deploy, and govern AI tooling used by product managers and builders, including approved AI prototyping and analysis tools.
  • Own the internal knowledge base and context layer used by AI agents; ensure AI responses are grounded in Ford Pro data and that data and instrumentation are machine-readable and clean.
  • Define guardrails for automated shipping versus review, tracking AI-generated experiments, and data governance, intellectual property, and security boundaries.
  • Own the work and team, as needed, that builds and operates shared products, tooling, and datasets that individual teams would not build alone; treat them as products with owners, roadmaps, and users.
  • Build and maintain reusable, scalable large language model skills and agentic workflows that teams can deploy.
  • Prioritize the solution backlog to build high-impact, reusable solutions across teams.
  • Establish product-organization operating rhythms, including roadmap and product reviews, planning rituals, cross-squad syncs, and sharing forums; define cadence and expected content.
  • Provide tooling and standards that make inputs, dependencies, and decisions visible without manual chasing, status routing, or program coordination; squad leaders own status and delivery updates.
  • Set standards for product tooling such as Jira/Atlassian and Jira Product Discovery so roadmaps, backlogs, and tradeoffs are transparent and comparable across pods.
  • Build and own a coherent, low-effort view of work across squads, including upcoming work, shipments, tradeoffs, judgment calls, and alignment with business value.
  • Define and govern KPIs and outcome metrics that make a decentralized portfolio observable, and design tools and processes for managing roadmaps and tradeoffs at scale.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, product teams, and business stakeholders, and present to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Monitor emerging product operations practices, bring useful ideas to Ford Pro, and help mature the broader product community of practice.
  • Within the first year, establish a coherent roadmap and metrics view across pods that leadership trusts and uses, replacing manual and previous reporting solutions.
  • Within the first year, establish and measure rising adoption of the new operating model and ways of working across teams.
  • Within the first year, tie AI adoption and delivery to business value to inform planning and investment decisions.
  • Within the first year, enable faster, lower-overhead planning with clear ownership and accountability instead of large, centrally coordinated planning events.
  • Within the first year, develop a product operations team and squad leads able to sustain the model without reliance on a single coordination point.
  • Within the first year, launch at least one shared product, tool, or dataset used across multiple pods.
Desired Qualifications
  • Direct, recent product management experience and readiness to provide substantial support to needed squads and/or eventually lead a group of squads.
  • Hands-on experience embedding AI and agentic workflows into product and software development processes.
  • Experience developing or operating software for fleets, connected vehicles, telematics, or other operationally intensive B2B SaaS domains.
  • Experience with Jira Product Discovery or similar tools and modern product analytics tooling.
  • Experience with Lean, Lean Startup, and human-centered product development practices.
  • An MBA or equivalent and relevant product or agile certifications.

Six high-yield dividend stocks fail the payout test, from Ford to Whirlpool's 9.37% mirage

High dividend yields can hide weak payouts, and a four-step test helps separate real income from traps. It checks earnings with one-offs stripped out, full-year free cash flow against dividends, management's explanation, and whether debt funds the gap. Ford yields 4.99% and shows a trailing EPS of -$1.88, caused by $4.2B in one-time charges. Its debt-to-equity of 4.66 leaves the $0.60 dividend exposed to a downturn. Pfizer yields 6.03%, but its free cash flow yield is 5.60%. Clorox's roughly $405M of free cash flow fell short of about $601M in dividends. Whirlpool fails every step. It cut its quarterly dividend from $1.75 to $0.90 in 2025, paid no common dividend in the second quarter of 2026, and its shares are down 59.48% since the end of 2025. 3M and Dow pass, with payouts now covered by cash.

UPS, Pfizer, Kraft Heinz and Ford dividends at risk as payouts outstrip earnings

Four blue chip companies, UPS, Pfizer, Kraft Heinz, and Ford, may struggle to sustain their dividends, according to an analysis of their earnings, cash flow, and debt. UPS yields 7.02% and pays out about 121% of its GAAP earnings. Pfizer yields 6.10%, with a GAAP payout ratio of about 226%; its 2025 free cash flow of $9.076 billion fell short of $9.771 billion in dividends. Kraft Heinz yields 6.82%, but its trailing GAAP earnings per share are −$2.88 after $7.4 billion in impairments. Ford yields 4.98% after an $8.162 billion loss in 2025, and its debt-to-equity ratio is 4.66. All four companies say their payouts are safe, and each points to adjusted earnings guidance that covers the dividend.

Seven S&P 500 stocks need 200%+ rallies to reclaim all-time highs

Seven major S&P 500 companies with market capitalizations exceeding $20 billion need to rally at least 200% to reach their previous all-time highs, according to Bespoke. The struggling firms include PG&E, PayPal, Ford, Nike, Las Vegas Sands, Zoetis, and Crown Castle. Nike has experienced particularly poor performance, with the company's stock trading at record lows and its dividend yield approaching 5%. Recent quarterly results showed Nike Brand sales fell 4%, online sales dropped 13%, Converse sales declined 28%, and China sales crashed 26%. CEO Elliott Hill indicated that weakness in the sportswear market would persist. PayPal faces intense competition in the payments sector. New CEO Enrique Lores reportedly declined a buyout offer from Stripe and will focus on cost reductions and improving customer experience.
