CADDi builds a Manufacturing AI Data Platform that organizes fragmented data from engineering, procurement, production, and quality so humans and AI can reason across decades of drawings and supply-chain records. Its products, including CADDi Drawer/Explorer, CADDi Quote, CADDi Agent, and domain workflow tools, are used by manufacturers like Hitachi, Subaru, and Kawasaki in more than 20 countries. The platform unifies diverse data into a single model to support automated workflows across design, sourcing, production, and quality. Its goal is to broaden North American adoption while expanding its AI capabilities and product reach through ongoing funding and platform expansion.

CADDi, a Tokyo- and Chicago-based startup selling AI software to help manufacturers organise and use engineering and production data, has raised $114 million in a Series D funding round. The round values the company at $1.2 billion, more than double its March 2025 valuation of $470 million. Eight investors participated, including Moore Strategic Ventures, Coreline Ventures, Toyota's Woven Capital, and HR Tech Fund. Existing backers Atomico, Globis Capital Partners, and JPS Growth funds also joined. The funding brings CADDi's total raised to $234 million since its 2017 founding. CADDi's platform integrates data from CAD files, enterprise resource planning software, and HR systems, structuring it for use by people and AI agents. The company now employs about 900 staff, up from 600 in early 2025, and serves customers in 22 countries.
CADDi, an AI data platform for manufacturing, has launched ITAR-compliant support for its CADDi Drawer platform, targeting aerospace and defence manufacturers handling sensitive International Traffic in Arms Regulations data. The company has registered with the US Department of State's Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. The new US-only tier meets strict data residency requirements and restricts access to US persons only. CADDi Drawer uses AI to centralise and analyse design and production data, helping manufacturers address challenges such as undocumented institutional knowledge and design redundancies that occur when engineers lack visibility into existing work. Founded in 2017, CADDi is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified. The platform is now available to qualifying US manufacturers, building on the company's existing work with automotive and heavy industry customers.
CADDi, a startup known for its manufacturing parts ordering service, announced on March 27 that it has raised a total of ¥9.1 billion. This includes ¥4 billion from three firms, including UK-based Atomico, and ¥5.1 billion in long-term debt financing from four financial institutions. CADDi has pivoted from its original business to focus on a new AI-driven SaaS venture, integrating its previous services. The funding will support its global expansion into Europe, the US, and Asia.
CADDi, a startup transforming parts procurement in manufacturing, was founded in November 2017. Within a year of service, it secured ¥1 billion in funding from major VCs like DCM and WiL, with over 3,000 companies adopting its platform. CEO Kato, noted for being McKinsey's youngest manager, is expanding the organization to hundreds of employees. The company features a unique structure with "two customer successes" and seeks a complementary leader akin to Kingdom's Kanki.
Global Brain, in collaboration with SMBC Venture Capital Management, has decided to make an additional investment in CADDi Inc., a company providing the AI data platform 'CADDi' for the manufacturing industry. CADDi aims to enhance production activities and decision-making by analyzing and linking data across engineering and supply chains. The investment will support CADDi's global expansion and AI development. Global Brain has previously invested in CADDi in 2018, 2021, and 2023.
