Requirements
  • Several years of experience designing architectures with Azure PaaS, IaaS, and container services; experience operating such environments is desirable.
  • Experience translating customer requirements into technical architectures, operating models, and service concepts.
  • Experience advising customers on Azure services, including functionality, security, scalability, and availability.
  • Familiarity with managed services fundamentals, including SLAs, operating processes, service levels, automation, and IT service management.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, automated pipelines, and infrastructure as code, including their role in standardized operations.
  • Ability to lead technical presales meetings and present solutions clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to act as an interface between sales, development, and operations.
  • Fluent German and confident communication in English.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer requirements during the presales process and translate them into suitable managed-service solutions based on Azure PaaS, IaaS, and container services.
  • Design the operating model for new customer solutions with service operations teams, including operational responsibility, SLAs, degree of automation, and interfaces.
  • Create technical solution concepts, effort estimates, and operating assumptions for proposals and business cases.
  • Attend customer discussions and workshops, facilitate technical requirement clarification, and present solution proposals to decision-makers.
  • Ensure a structured handover from presales to delivery and operations.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the managed-services portfolio.
  • Advise customers on security, scalability, availability, and operating costs for their Azure environments in a managed-services context.
