Location

This is a full-time position based in Munich or Cologne. Following a comprehensive onboarding period at our HQ in central Zurich (minimum one month), you will work from your home location with regular travel to client sites across the DACH region.

Team collaboration matters a lot to us. You will regularly spend time with the team in person, in Zurich and at our hubs, for team days, all-hands and offsites. These visits are financially supported by blp.

Your Mission

You own the client outcome on our largest strategic accounts, from the moment the contract is signed to the moment the solution is running at scale, and you carry the revenue that comes with it.

Our customers do not buy software, they buy a change in how their organization runs. Automating core processes end-to-end frees capacity that was locked in manual execution. Consolidating fragmented point solutions onto one platform lowers what the process landscape costs to own. And running those processes with full transparency gives finance something it rarely has, a reliable real-time view of what is actually happening, which is what makes forecasting and financial steering possible.

Delivering that on a strategic account takes a full blp team: a Senior Project Manager and Project Managers, Integrations Engineers and a Technical Project Manager, a Consultant with AI Automation Specialists, and our Customer Success Engineers. Your job is to make that team deliver for your customers, to hold the relationship at executive level while it happens, and to grow the account once the value is proven. You make sure a strategic customer gets what it was promised: a custom Academy for its teams, priority support, and whatever automation effort it takes to reach the productivity we committed to.

You are not managing a queue and you are not running the project plan. You carry a focused portfolio of our largest customers, and you are the one person accountable for whether they consider blp a success.

Key Responsibilities

• Own net revenue retention and expansion across a focused portfolio of our largest strategic customers.

• Join late-stage commercial discussions, shape the delivery approach with the Account Executive, and own the client kick-off.

• Hold the steering committee seat and the relationship with the client's CFO, COO or Head of Shared Services.

• Act as the trusted advisor and domain expert your clients call before they call anyone else.

• Orchestrate the functions that serve your accounts, project management, integrations, consulting and support, without managing them directly.

• Own the value case: set the baseline at go-live, track it, and defend it in the quarterly business review.

• Be the first point of escalation for your clients. Call a delivery review when a project is off track, require a recovery plan, and hold the organization to it.

• Identify expansion early, new entities, new processes, new countries, and build the internal case for it.

• Be the voice of your customers inside blp: collect and structure product feedback from your accounts, and work with Product, Engineering and Sales to translate what clients need into what gets built, without losing sight of blp's own product direction.

• Turn your best accounts into reference customers: case studies, referenceability, and clients willing to speak publicly about blp.

What We're Really Looking For

The following key attributes ensure success in this role:

• Ownership Without Authority – You deliver a number that depends on people who do not report to you, and you do it without escalating.

• Executive Presence – You hold a room where a client executive is unhappy, and you leave it with a decision rather than an action item.

• Commercial Instinct – You see the expansion before the client asks, and you can build the business case for it.

• Structured Thinking – You break an ambiguous client situation into a plan with owners and dates.

• Customer-First Mentality – You care about the client's business outcome, not about defending the project scope.

What You Bring

• Master's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

• 6+ years of experience in strategy consulting, enterprise customer success or account leadership, or senior delivery roles with commercial accountability.

• Proven track record of owning senior client relationships in complex, multi-stakeholder organizations.

• Experience running steering committees and holding difficult conversations with executive sponsors.

• Credible on enterprise finance and supply chain processes. You do not need to configure an ERP, but you need to understand how one is used.

• Fluent in German and English, spoken and written.

• Bonus points for experience in ERP, AP automation, or AI-driven enterprise SaaS.
