Financial Planning Analyst @ First Mode

First Mode is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst who will be working alongside the First Mode finance team and senior leadership to support strategic financial planning, forecasting, and liquidity management. You’ll be working closely with different teams across the company to provide value adding analysis to senior stakeholders, including the C-Suite.

Position Responsibilities

Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and analysis to senior management on a regular basis.
Wrangle large data sets, improving accuracy and creating custom dashboards to promote transparency across all key stakeholders.
Lead process improvements and establishment of systems and tools to streamline financial planning.
Collaborate with department heads to create annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
Analyse financial data, trends, and key performance indicators to provide insights into business performance, offering actionable recommendations.
Work closely with other areas of the business, providing financial support for operational decision making.
Assist in scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess potential impacts on financial outcomes.
Support collating material for board meetings and forecast required to support liquidity management.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
3-4 years of experience in relevant roles with FP&A or strategic finance
Demonstrated continuous improvement process skills
Proficiency in excel, financial modeling and good knowledge of other Office 365 tools
Demonstrated integrity and ethics in handling confidential information
Strong interpersonal skills – comfortable working with people at different levels in the organization.

Additional Requirements

Comfortable with business travel to various local and global destinations

Location

This position will be located at First Mode’s London office in SoHo and will be required to work in office >60% of working hours
