ASE Connects launches back-to-school giveaway with Snap-on prizes. August 7, 2026 ASE Connects has initiated a back-to-school giveaway to support instructors preparing the next generation of technicians for the automotive, diesel and collision industries. In collaboration with Snap-on, ASE Connects will award prizes to four schools. The prize package includes three $250 Snap-on gift cards and a grand prize consisting of a Snap-on cart and tool set, valued at more than $11,000. The giveaway is open to high school and post-secondary instructors who teach automotive, diesel, collision, technical education or related courses, as well as school administrators. This initiative aims to equip educational programs with essential resources, directly benefiting students entering the skilled trades. To enter, eligible individuals must log in or create a free ASE Connects (formerly WrenchWay) account and complete the ASE Connects back-to-school form. The form is estimated to take five to 10 minutes to complete. The deadline for submission is Oct. 2, 2026. The back-to-school form is designed to ensure schools begin the academic year with current information and clearly defined requests for industry support. Through the form, instructors can review, repost or add new requests for tools, shop tours, guest speakers or advisory committee members. Furthermore, the form allows instructors to share program updates with local shops and dealerships, detailing enrollment numbers, curriculum changes and new certifications. Participants can also review account access and add new instructors or staff, streamlining their connectivity with industry partners. Jun 21, 2026 Snap-on Incorporated, valued at a market cap of $20.1 billion, has underperformed the S&P 500 Index over the past three months but outpaced it over the last year, according to a June 21 report. The Kenosha, Wisconsin-based company manufactures and markets high-end tools and equipment for professional users in industries such as automotive repair, aerospace, defense, manufacturing, and natural resources. With its market capitalization exceeding $10 billion, Snap-on is classified as a large-cap stock. The company's strengths include strong brand equity and a direct-to-customer mobile franchise network that provides pricing power within the tools and accessories sector. Shares of Snap-on slipped 3.4% from their 52-week high of $400.88 reached on April 23. Over the past three months, shares gained 7%, while the S&P 500 Index rose by 13.5% during the same period.
