Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Provide regulatory and technical support for manufacturing strategies and investigational product activities throughout all phases of product development.
  • Provide investigational product and chemistry, manufacturing, and controls support to integrated product teams and working groups.
  • Develop strategies for and execute investigational product activities, including storage, shipment, and destruction.
  • Provide input for final investigational product formulation and assist in developing product specifications for drugs, biologics, medical devices, and combination products.
  • Write, review, and revise investigational product-specific storage and handling instructions in clinical documents.
  • Review shipment records, track product batches and shipping conditions, ensure product accountability and cold-chain management, and facilitate investigational product import and export.
  • Manage investigational product shipping and destruction requests, maintain product accountability systems including laboratory information management systems, review temperature logs, investigate temperature excursions through resolution, and maintain accountability records in the Trial Master File.
  • Review master batch and executed production records, stability protocols and reports, product labels, and certificates of analysis for adequacy and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop, review, and revise bioanalytical and analytical method and equipment qualification and validation protocols and reports, including installation, operational, and performance qualification.
  • Perform current Good Manufacturing Practices and current Good Laboratory Practices facility audits and site visits, and prepare audit reports and follow-up documentation.
  • Write, review, and revise regulatory submission documents for investigational products and nonclinical efforts in electronic Common Technical Document Modules 2, 3, and 4.
  • Review product data discrepancies, including failures, deviations, out-of-specifications, out-of-trends, and test anomaly reports; manage discrepancies to resolution through appropriate Good Manufacturing Practices actions; and communicate discrepancies to ORA leadership.
