XRP ETFs draw just $4.3M in a week as WisdomTree awaits SEC decision on its fund

US spot XRP ETFs took in just $4.3 million in net inflows from October 19 to 22, 2026, with no new money on October 23. That is about 0.3% of the $1.48 billion the funds manage. The week before, the funds saw $1.8 million in net outflows. Five spot XRP ETFs trade in the US, and XRP sits near $1.28, 64.9% below its July 2025 record of $3.65. The funds have drawn $1.80 billion in total inflows since launch, yet hold only $1.48 billion, a gap of about $322 million. Much of the money arrived when XRP cost more. WisdomTree is awaiting a Securities and Exchange Commission decision on its own spot XRP ETF. The article suggests a sixth fund is unlikely to lift inflows much, as demand tracks XRP's price more than the number of funds.

This duo livens up the long/short ETF proposition.

This duo livens up the long/short ETF proposition. Long/short investing was long the territory of hedge funds and institutional investors. But the ETF industry democratized that access, bringing long/short strategies to the masses. One of the pioneers in terms of bringing alternative strategies to the ETF wrapper, WisdomTree is a rising player in the long/short ETF space. The firm introduced the the WisdomTree Efficient Long/Short U.S. Equity Fund (WTLS) earlier this year. But the issuer isn't resting on those laurels. WTLS now has a pair of stablemates. That's thanks to the Oct. 8 debuts of the WisdomTree Efficient Long/Short U.S. SmallCap Equity Fund (WSLS) and the WisdomTree Global Alpha Fund (WTAL). WisdomTree developed these fresh strategies in conjunction with AlphaBeta. AlphaBeta is an Israeli fintech company in which the ETF giant holds a minority stake. As WisdomTree Equity Strategist Brian Manby noted, WSLS and WTAL build on the "portable alpha approach introduced with WTLS." That indicates age isn't important with these rookie funds, but DNA is meaningful. Good time to consider long/short strategies. Amid turbulence in the bond market, lethargic U.S. economic data, and a looming midterm election, more advisors and sophisticated investors may be compelled to examine long/short strategies. That indicates WSLS and WTAL may prove to be examples of well-timed new ETFs. Specific to WSLS, that "infant" ETF may be impactful out of the gate. That's because small-caps were hot for much of this year before recently being dinged by rising Treasury yields. "For WSLS, U.S. small cap equity futures provide the baseline market exposure. Alongside that exposure, a dynamic U.S. small cap long/short overlay seeks to favor stocks the models identify as attractive with strong fundamentals, while taking short positions in stocks with deteriorating fundamentals," said Manby. "The overlay is designed to uncover market neutral alpha through relative stock selection, rather than rely solely on the direction of the small cap market alone." Global counterpart. For its part, WTAL could be viewed as the global counterpart to WTLS. The latter fund is the original ETF in the WisdomTree long/short suite. However, WTAL is a departure from WSLS and WTLS. That's because it combines exposure to both domestic and international developed market equities. WSLS and WTAL add chapters to a story originally penned by WTLS. The new funds embrace data-driven long/short approaches. They simultaneously expand access to a methodology that was previously hard to reach for ordinary investors. "WSLS and WTAL carry it forward through two distinct applications of the same central idea: use research, data and systematic models to seek returns from stock selection, then make those strategies available in an ETF," concluded Manby. "Whether paired with U.S. small cap exposure or applied across U.S. and developed international markets, the goal is to widen access to investment approaches traditionally associated with hedge funds." WisdomTree launches tokenized real-world asset funds on Arbitrum.

WisdomTree launches tokenized real-world asset funds on Arbitrum. WisdomTree confirmed on September 30, 2026: deployment of tokenized real-world asset funds natively on Arbitrum. The move expands institutional-grade tokenized products onto a Layer 2 network, signaling broader integration of traditional assets into blockchain infrastructure. Key operational milestones and context. * Scope: tokenized RWA funds launched directly on Arbitrum to leverage lower fees, faster settlement, and Ethereum security via rollup architecture. * Governance and compliance: filings indicate emphasis on regulated fund structures, investor protections, and KYC/AML workflows integrated with on-chain operations. * Security: deployment highlights custody, smart contract risk controls, and audit frameworks aligned with institutional standards. * Liquidity: design targets improved secondary market liquidity via on-chain transferability, interoperable standards, and potential integration with compliant venues. * Scalability: Arbitrum provides throughput and cost efficiency for fund issuance, transfer, and lifecycle events such as subscriptions, redemptions, and distributions. * Transparency: on-chain registries and event logs increase auditability for asset flows, NAV reporting pathways, and collateral tracking. Market outlook and industry impact. * Institutional participation: the launch establishes a reference model for tokenized funds on L2, likely catalyzing similar offerings and expanding compliant RWA market depth. * Liquidity signals: market participants will monitor on-chain volumes, spreads, and custody-to-exchange flows to gauge uptake and pricing efficiency. * Collateral usage: tokenized shares may be used in repo-like arrangements or as DeFi-compatible collateral where permissible, contingent on compliance constraints. * Technology roadmap: continued upgrades to Arbitrum and fund token standards will influence settlement reliability, interoperability, and risk management. * Risk factors: smart contract risk, regulatory interpretation across jurisdictions, and counterparty risk in custody and transfer agents remain material.
