Responsibilities

Ensure the work environment is safe and maintained so employees can safely grow and develop.
Engage everyone in the operation in safety observations to identify and remove risks.
Select people for the operation, train them to be competent, assess their performance and potential, and recognize their contributions.
Regularly review employee feedback to understand issues and concerns affecting the work environment.
Manage inbound and outbound shipments and stock transfers, including supporting system activity.
Manage production picking and ensure intercompany transfers and staging are completed accurately and on time for production use.
Assess and verify ongoing resource needs.
Validate the use and continuous improvement of production and operational processes.
Determine and adhere to quality standards; ensure customer quality requirements are understood and incorporated into each process.
Maintain warehouse management system accuracy for product and material quantity, SKU, lot code, and location.
Ensure cycle counts and damage processing are completed and documented as required.
Maintain the integrity and timeliness of operating-system data, including Pack Manager, Kronos, and Quick Base.
Understand the standards and needs of each customer and report accurate, well-documented UPPH metrics.
Manage and motivate frontline operational workers to maintain a safe, organized, and accurate receiving, warehouse, staging, and shipping environment.
Allocate people to meet operating targets and ensure equipment is fully maintained and preventive maintenance is performed.
Identify and champion change opportunities, address resistance to change, and support continuous improvement.
Provide direction, build teams, give constructive performance feedback, and delegate work after developing others' readiness.
Hold self and others accountable and handle conflict and confrontation effectively.
