MonkeySports is an online retailer that specializes in ice hockey, lacrosse, and baseball equipment. Its flagship site, hockeymonkey.com, is a leading destination in hockey e-commerce, driving high traffic and broad product selection for customers who shop for sticks, protective gear, jerseys, and other gear. The company operates by hosting an online storefront where customers browse by sport, compare products, place orders, and receive shipping and customer service through its platform. Compared with rivals, MonkeySports leverages a long track record (founded in 1999) and a focused emphasis on hockey, complemented by expansion into lacrosse and baseball to capture broader team-sport demand. The company’s goal is to be the go-to online source for hockey gear and related equipment, while continuing to grow its footprint in team sports and extend its product catalog and service offerings for athletes and teams.
