Obtain registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
Be licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Kentucky.
Work efficiently without sacrificing effectiveness.
Responsibilities
Perform skilled therapeutic services within the Occupational Therapist’s scope of practice.
Screen and evaluate patients for Occupational Therapy.
Administer and interpret standardized assessments that identify deficits related to activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living, including motor, sensory, cognitive, social, and attention performance deficits.
Establish and update Occupational Therapy plans of care.
Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants as needed.
Make progress with patients directly and indirectly through occupational therapy treatment and home education programs.
Reassess and re-evaluate progress leading to discharge when all goals are met.
Educate the public about how Occupational Therapy helps and make the community aware that help is available.
Support the whole child through a multidisciplinary team approach.

Louisville location: This new TheraTree location is in partnership with a local University. The current clinic and staff are established in the community and TheraTree's purpose is to further develop this connection and the help that the community can receive. Reassess and re-evaluate progress that leads to discharge for all goals met.

Support the whole child with our complimentary multidisciplinary team approach.
