Requirements
  • Experience working with children is required in practice for the childcare setting, with the role requiring compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education, an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, a Children's Barred List Check, satisfactory suitability checks, and two references including one from the most recent employer and one from a childcare setting if applicable.
  • Ability to run activities and manage a group of children aged 4–11.
  • Candidates must provide the correct documentation for the Disclosure and Barring Service and safeguarding checks.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver age-appropriate activities including multi-sports, arts and crafts, group games, and creative play.
  • Set up play spaces and keep them safe and clean.
  • Supervise children while ensuring that every child feels welcome, safe, and included.
  • Prepare snacks and manage sign-in and sign-out processes.
  • Work split shifts from 7:30–9:00 a.m. and 3:00–5:30 p.m.
  • Work morning Breakfast Clubs and afternoon After School Clubs, with opportunities for Holiday Club and lunchtime cover.
  • Take the lead when needed while working as part of the team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in teaching, coaching, childcare, or youth work.
