Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in loading, unloading, and transporting construction equipment is required.
- The ability to lift 50 pounds is required.
- Experience with a personal computer, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and general computer literacy is required.
- Multitasking, communication, planning, and organizational skills are required.
- Initiative, teamwork, and adaptability are required.
- The ability to work overtime and weekends when needed is required.
- Excellent written, email, and verbal communication skills are required.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required, including no more than two minor violations within the past three years and no major violations within the past five years.
- The ability to work outdoors, in shop environments, and in varying weather conditions is required.
- The ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds continuously is required.
- Approved safety equipment, such as safety glasses or side shields, must be worn when needed.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, wash, and prepare all equipment returning from rentals for the shop.
- Maintain a neatly organized and safe store and yard work area.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Assist with scanning rental equipment during delivery and return processes and maintain associated paperwork.
- Inspect returned equipment for damage during the rental period and complete the proper documentation.
- Process and maintain all associated paperwork.
- Perform other related duties as requested or assigned.
- Work overtime during peak season as needed.
- Occasionally travel locally to transport equipment.
