Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in Oracle reporting, analytics, or financial systems transformation.
  • Deep expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP reporting, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Project Portfolio Management, and Supply Chain Management, with strong familiarity in Oracle Financials.
  • Hands-on leadership experience with Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence and/or Oracle Analytics Cloud, including working knowledge of Oracle’s latest platform releases and roadmap.
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle reporting tools, including Online Transactional Business Intelligence, BI Publisher, Smart View, and Financial Reporting Studio.
  • Demonstrated ability to define enterprise data strategy and integrate Oracle technologies with broader organizational data architectures, including data lakes, warehouses, and enterprise business intelligence platforms.
  • Proven experience advising CFO and CIO stakeholders on reporting toolset selection, analytics investment decisions, and adoption of artificial-intelligence-driven analytics.
  • Proficiency in distinguishing and applying Oracle ERP/EPM transactional reporting from artificial-intelligence-powered prescriptive and predictive analytics, with hands-on experience delivering AI-augmented analytics solutions on Oracle platforms.
  • Proven success leading large, global Oracle programs in a Big Four consulting environment.
  • Executive-level communication, stakeholder management, and advisory capabilities.
  • English is required because the role regularly interacts with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada.
Responsibilities
  • Define and execute a holistic enterprise data and reporting strategy positioning Oracle Cloud technologies within the client’s broader organizational data ecosystem.
  • Articulate how Oracle reporting and analytics capabilities integrate with and complement enterprise data platforms while enabling downstream analytics consumption.
  • Shape the client’s overall data vision by advising on data architecture decisions, including transactional and analytical data sources, data mesh or hub-and-spoke models, and reporting-layer boundaries.
  • Establish enterprise reporting and key performance indicator standards across statutory, management, operational, and executive analytics.
  • Lead reporting and analytics rationalization efforts, including legacy decommissioning, simplification, and migration to Oracle-native and modern analytics solutions.
  • Maintain current expertise in Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Intelligent Performance Management, and Oracle’s AI-embedded reporting features.
  • Advise clients on Oracle’s reporting roadmap, including AI-augmented analytics, natural-language querying, automated narrative insights, and embedded machine learning.
  • Lead adoption and deployment of Oracle platform capabilities, including Fusion Data Intelligence subject areas, pre-built KPI frameworks, and Oracle Analytics semantic modelling.
  • Drive standardization and reuse of Oracle-delivered content and seeded analytics to minimize customization and technical debt.
  • Evaluate and guide the use of Oracle AI Services and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure data capabilities for ERP/EPM reporting and analytics.
  • Maintain hands-on proficiency across Oracle ERP and EPM reporting tools, including Online Transactional Business Intelligence, BI Publisher, Financial Reporting Studio, Smart View, and Account Reconciliation.
  • Define the reporting architecture boundary between Oracle ERP/EPM transactional reporting and AI-powered prescriptive and predictive analytics layers.
  • Lead the design and deployment of AI-augmented analytics solutions on Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence and Oracle Analytics Cloud, incorporating predictive forecasting, anomaly detection, and prescriptive recommendations.
  • Advise on embedded AI and machine-learning capabilities within Oracle Cloud Financials and their integration with broader enterprise analytics strategies.
  • Establish governance frameworks for AI-generated insights, including data lineage, model transparency, metric reconciliation, and auditability standards.
  • Partner with Data Science and AI/ML teams to extend Oracle data assets into enterprise AI platforms.
  • Serve as the executive-level advisor to CFO, CIO, Controller, and FP&A leadership on the enterprise reporting technology stack.
  • Guide C-suite stakeholders on toolset selection trade-offs among Oracle Online Transactional Business Intelligence, Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Tableau, and other platforms.
  • Advise the CIO on Oracle reporting architecture integration patterns with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure Synapse, and AWS.
  • Lead executive storytelling and enablement sessions for board-level and C-suite audiences.
  • Define analytics value cases and success metrics to secure executive sponsorship and justify analytics investment decisions.
  • Own the reporting and analytics workstream across complex, multi-pillar Oracle programs covering ERP, EPM, SCM, and HCM.
  • Define and enforce reporting governance, design standards, and delivery methodologies across functional teams.
  • Coordinate dependencies across chart of accounts, dimensional design, Subledger Accounting, data conversion, and integrations.
  • Ensure reporting and analytics readiness across system integration testing, user acceptance testing, parallel close, and go-live phases.
  • Lead adoption and deployment of Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence as the enterprise analytics layer for Oracle Cloud data.
  • Oversee Fusion Data Intelligence architecture, including Fusion data pipelines, subject areas, semantic models, and KPI frameworks.
  • Ensure alignment among Fusion Data Intelligence, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and transactional reporting solutions.
  • Lead the design of Fusion Data Intelligence-powered executive dashboards for CFO-, COO-, CIO-, and business-unit-level decision-making.
  • Define data governance, metric ownership, and reconciliation standards so Fusion Data Intelligence insights align with general ledger and subledger reporting.
  • Ensure reporting and analytics solutions support internal controls, auditability, and regulatory requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley and statutory reporting.
  • Lead reconciliation strategies across legacy systems, Oracle subledgers, general ledger, and Fusion Data Intelligence analytics outputs.
  • Establish auditability and data lineage standards for AI-generated and Fusion Data Intelligence-driven insights.
  • Partner with Internal Audit and Risk teams on reporting-related control considerations.
  • Lead and mentor managers, consultants, and offshore teams across reporting and analytics workstreams.
  • Set delivery standards, coach emerging leaders, and build scalable reporting and analytics capability.
  • Contribute to firm methodologies, accelerators, and thought leadership related to Oracle reporting, analytics, and AI-driven financial insights.

Accenture shares down 27%, but 11.5% yield available through put options at 35% discount

Accenture trades 37% below its 52-week high after falling 27% over the past year. In fiscal Q3 2026, new bookings declined and some managed services deals slipped into fiscal 2027. The company generated $73.1 billion in revenue over the past twelve months, with operating margins widening to 17% in Q3. Managed services revenue grew 5% in local currency. In the first nine months of fiscal 2026, clients made 104 quarterly bookings exceeding $100 million, up 13% year-on-year. Consulting revenue grew just 1% in local currency in Q3. Management attributes the slowdown to the Middle East conflict affecting regional and discretionary spending. The CEO acknowledged that client budgets have not been growing, with spending simply being redirected rather than increased.

Accenture appoints Emma Chalwin as chief marketing officer

Accenture has appointed Emma Chalwin as Chief Marketing Officer, effective 1 October 2026. She will oversee global marketing and communications, reporting to Chair and CEO Julie Sweet.
