About the Job

Requirements

  • A completed degree in economics/business studies, business informatics, or business mathematics is required.
  • At least five years of professional experience and in-depth knowledge of front-to-back processes and functions at an investment management company, asset manager, and/or custodian, either at a target company or consulting firm; alternatively, in-depth knowledge of key regulatory requirements such as UCITS, AIFMD, MiFID II, PRIIPS, InvStRefG, EMIR, CSDR, and the EU ESG Action Plan, as well as asset classes such as securities and real estate.
  • Experience with innovation topics and projects, market trends, and potential applications of new technologies in asset management, combining specialist and technological knowledge.
  • Very good communication skills in German and English, each at least C1 level.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients in the financial services sector, across asset classes, on digital business transformation, process and IT design innovations, sustainability, regulatory changes, and risk management.
  • Support national and international companies with complex IT and process transformation initiatives.
  • Analyze business models, organizational structures, and system structures to identify optimization opportunities and develop target operating models.
  • Execute data-related projects using data analytics or data science methods, and provide specialist advice on designing and implementing legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to developing and preparing current and future-focused topics in wealth and asset management, such as sustainable finance and digital assets.
  • Lead projects, coordinate multiple consulting engagements, and promote the professional and personal development of team members.
