What believers are saying

  • Professional learning is funded: DPI's West Coast analyst role includes free supervision and continuing education.
  • An advancement route is advertised: DPI's Anaheim assessor role lists a track to associate clinical director.
  • Clinical work follows an intensive model: DPI's intervention framework establishes 20-40 hours of treatment each week.

What critics are saying

  • Travel is part of direct care: DPI's Rowlett technician role involves home visits, with mileage reimbursed.
  • Hours extend beyond daytime: DPI's part-time Rowlett technician role advertises afternoon, evening and weekend scheduling.
  • Administrative work accompanies telehealth: DPI's remote analyst posting requires treatment data collection and monthly progress updates.

What makes Developmental Pathways unique

  • Clinical supervision has three levels: DPI's assessor posting places program managers between technicians and certified behavior analysts.
  • Treatment aims for family independence: DPI trains caregivers while gradually withdrawing direct therapist support.
  • Social coaching spans ages: DPI's university-developed curriculum has separate groups for preschoolers, teens and adults aged 18-35.
