Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of full-time work experience is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience in information security, cybersecurity, vulnerability management, security architecture, network security, security tools, and computer systems administration is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management is required.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements including FFIEC, GLBA, and NIST is required.
  • Knowledge of information security and cybersecurity best practices is required.
  • Knowledge of systems administration, including Windows Server, Active Directory management, firewalls, UNIX systems, and network architectures, is required.
  • Knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, DLP, XDR, EDR, and web filters is required.
  • Understanding of protocol behaviors and the validity of identified vulnerabilities is required.
Responsibilities
  • Execute incident response protocols to respond to and escalate incidents in a timely manner.
  • Conduct initial incident response, including containment, documentation, and communication.
  • Conduct post-incident reporting and analysis.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of security events and actions taken.
  • Analyze security alerts and assess potential threats.
  • Stay updated on the current threat landscape and emerging attack techniques.
  • Supervise a team of SOC associates during assigned shifts, ensuring task coverage and operational readiness.
  • Enforce adherence to SOC policies, standards, and procedures and escalate deviations or issues as needed.
  • Participate in the review and improvement of incident response policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Execute security policies and standards.
  • Manage assigned security monitoring tools.
  • Conduct vulnerability scans, patch management, identity and access management, penetration testing, data privacy activities, phishing and training activities, audit affairs, and risk assessments as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • CISSP, CRISC, or information-technology-related certifications are preferred.
