Requirements
  • Diploma (e.g. DUT) or degree in electrical engineering, automation, or a related field - or equivalent hands-on experience
  • 1+ years of experience (internships/apprenticeships and personal projects all count, however, candidates with more experience are warmly encouraged to apply)
  • Some exposure to PLC programming (Beckhoff, Rockwell, Siemens, or Schneider - any is fine; you'll learn Beckhoff on the job)
  • Familiarity with electrical panel design and reading wiring diagrams
  • Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, and basic electronics troubleshooting
  • Comfortable using an oscilloscope and basic electronics measurement tools
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and trouble-shoot PLC-based control systems (Beckhoff) on our lab and field electrolyzer units.
  • Wire, install, and troubleshoot sensors, actuators, electrical panels, valves and pumps
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance of test benches, including instrumentation and controls
  • Testing and validation of the sub-systems through the implementation of test protocols
  • Implementation and tuning of PID controllers
  • Writing of documentation
  • Benchmark suppliers and contact them
  • Maintain inventory and improve the inventory system

Dioxycle recycles carbon emissions into ethylene by using an electrolyzer installed downstream of emission sources and powered by renewable energy. The captured carbon is converted into ethylene, which can be used to produce items like polyester fibers, plastics, pipes, and window frames. Its approach is deployed on-site at industrial emitters, aiming to reduce CO2 while producing a high-value feedstock and revenue from both equipment and ethylene. The goal is to help industries decarbonize by turning waste carbon into affordable ethylene, offering a scalable, practical solution for global emission reductions.

The initiative will begin with a pilot facility at an Adani Group's site to produce formic acid using captured CO[2] and renewable electricity, followed by a phased scale-up to commercial manufacturing. 10 Jul 2026 Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL) and French company Dioxycle have entered into a long-term partnership to develop and scale low-carbon chemical production in India. The initiative will begin with a pilot facility at an Adani Group's site to produce formic acid using captured carbon dioxide and renewable electricity. Following successful validation, the partners plan to scale the technology for commercial manufacturing. Formic acid and its derivatives are widely used across industries including textiles, agriculture and manufacturing. The project aims to demonstrate how captured carbon emissions can be converted into valuable products using clean energy. The partnership combines Dioxycle's electrically driven chemical manufacturing technology with Adani Group's clean-energy capabilities, infrastructure platform and project execution expertise to create a new model for sustainable and cost-competitive chemical production. "We are proud to pilot India's first formic acid production facility powered entirely by renewable electricity and captured carbon. This partnership with Dioxycle is a testament to how strategic industrial synergies can turn carbon liabilities into sustainable, cost-effective economic assets," said Jeet Adani, Director, Adani Group. L'Oréal signs deal to turn captured CO2 into packaging materials. Cleantech startup Dioxycle announced that it has signed a multi-year offtake partnership with global beauty company L'Oréal to transform captured carbon emissions into sustainable packaging materials. Founded in 2021, French-American Dioxycle specializes in technology that uses a low-temperature electrolyzer to produce sustainable ethylene from recycled carbon emissions, water, and renewable electricity. Ethylene is the world's most widely consumed organic chemical and is integral to industries like textiles, plastics, construction, and furniture. The conventional conversion process uses fossil fuels and is responsible for substantial carbon emissions. According to Dioxcycle, its approach delivers the most cost-efficient ethylene and commodity chemical production process, shifting away from fossil fuels while lowering the industrial carbon footprint. Dr. Sarah Lamaison, CEO and Co-Founder of Dioxyce, said: "By partnering with a global beauty group that demands the highest standards of excellence, we're proving that sustainability and performance can go hand in hand. L'ORÉAL's leadership in adopting scalable climate solutions sets a powerful precedent and brings us closer to a circular carbon-based chemical industry." According to L'Oréal, the new partnership will strengthen its leadership in sustainable material innovation through the introduction of polyethylene made via carbon electrolysis into its packaging portfolio. L'Oréal added that the partnership will support its efforts to advance a circular carbon-based chemical industry, helping the company reduce Scope 3 emissions while maintaining high-performance packaging for its products. The company's "L'Oréal for the Future" sustainability program includes several 2030 packaging goals, including targets to reduce the use of virgin plastic for product packaging by 50%, and to source 50% of materials from either recycled or biobased sources.
