Requirements

A successfully completed degree with a focus on taxation, accounting, auditing, finance, or a comparable qualification in tax advisory.
First to several years of relevant professional experience in tax advisory or auditing, ideally in accounting or a corporate tax environment.
Knowledge of accounting and/or tax law.
Interest in tax and accounting relationships in a corporate-group environment.
An analytical and structured working style with strong numerical aptitude.
Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
Very good German language skills and good English language skills.

Responsibilities

Support the tax administration of national Motel One Group companies.
Assist with preparing and reviewing tax returns for national group companies.
Assist with calculating tax provisions and preparing tax reporting.
Support tax audits and communicate with tax authorities and external advisors.
Participate in tax projects, restructurings, and special topics.
Support the enhancement and digitalization of tax and accounting processes.
Contribute to tax matters involving corporate income taxes and value-added tax.
Analyze and interpret annual financial statements and derive resulting tax matters.
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under the German Commercial Code.
Collaborate closely with internal departments including accounting, controlling, financial applications, development, and legal.

Desired Qualifications

Ideally, initial experience with SAP and/or DATEV.
High willingness to learn, initiative, and a hands-on approach.
Ability to work in a team and enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration.

Bei der Motel One Group geht es im Bereich Steuern nicht um Routine, sondern um Qualität, Sorgfalt und steuerliche Würdigung mit Substanz. In unserer Tax-Abteilung in der Münchener Zentrale verantworten wir die steuerliche Betreuung der nationalen Konzerngesellschaften – von der laufenden Deklaration über das Tax Reporting bis hin zu Betriebsprüfungen, Sonderthemen und der engen Verzahnung u. a. mit Bilanzierung, Accounting und Legal.

Zur Verstärkung suchen wir eine motivierte Persönlichkeit mit solidem fachlichem Fundament und Lust, sich vom Referenten Steuern in die Rolle des (Junior) Manager Tax hineinzuentwickeln. Du arbeitest eng mit der Fachbereichsleitung Steuern zusammen, die dich fachlich wie disziplinarisch führt und gezielt aufbaut.

Deine Aufgaben:

Unterstützung bei der steuerlichen Betreuung nationaler Konzerngesellschaften der Motel One Group
Mitarbeit bei der Erstellung und Prüfung von Steuererklärungen nationaler Konzerngesellschaften
Mitarbeit bei der Berechnung von Steuerrückstellungen sowie steuerlichem Reporting
Unterstützung bei Betriebsprüfungen sowie Kommunikation mit Finanzbehörden und externen Beratern
Mitwirkung bei steuerlichen Projekten, Umstrukturierungen und Sonderthemen
Unterstützung bei der Weiterentwicklung und Digitalisierung steuerlicher und bilanzieller Prozesse
Mitwirkung bei steuerlichen Fragestellungen im Bereich Ertragsteuern und Umsatzsteuer
Analyse und Interpretation von Jahresabschlüssen sowie Ableitung hieraus resultierender steuerlicher Sachverhalte
Unterstützung bei der Erstellung von Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüssen nach HGB
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit internen Fachbereichen wie Bilanzierung, Accounting, Controlling, Financial Applications, Development und Legal

Qualifikationen

Das bringst du mit:

Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium mit Schwerpunkt Steuern, Rechnungswesen, Wirtschaftsprüfung, Finance oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung in der Steuerberatung
Erste bis mehrjährige relevante Berufserfahrung in der Steuerberatung, Wirtschaftsprüfung, idealerweise im Accounting oder im steuerlichen Unternehmensumfeld
Kenntnisse im Bereich Bilanzierung und/oder Steuerrecht
Interesse an steuerlichen und bilanziellen Zusammenhängen im Konzernumfeld
Analytische und strukturierte Arbeitsweise sowie hohe Zahlenaffinität
Gute MS-Office-Kenntnisse, insbesondere Excel
Idealerweise erste Erfahrungen mit SAP und/oder DATEV
Hohe Lernbereitschaft, Eigeninitiative und Hands-on-Mentalität
Teamfähigkeit sowie Freude an bereichsübergreifender Zusammenarbeit
Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse sowie gute Englischkenntnisse
