About The Role:

Intelliguard has an excellent opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst II to join our team in Columbus, Ohio, reporting to the VP of Software Product. As a Business Systems Analyst II, you will be responsible for creating and managing requirements that lead the development of software and user-facing applications in our proprietary healthcare software and medical device environment. The Business Systems Analyst II will focus their efforts on the management of the features / functionalities of software products from initial conception, documentation, and review through development, verification (SQA), and validation efforts.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Interact closely with external stakeholders, including Clients and Industry experts, as well as internal cross-functional teams such as Product, Sales, Software Development, and others across the company.
• Own the delivery of high-quality product requirements and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with product teams, clients, development teams, customer success teams, and integration engineers to translate use case requirements into workflows using various integration options within the software ecosystem.
• Deliver clear, detailed, and technically sound software requirements to developers, and providing ongoing support and clarification throughout the development process.
• Create detailed mapping specifications for client integrations and its corresponding attributes, including integrating data from a variety of external client and third-party software to drive deeper and more successful integrations using FHIR, HL7 messaging types, Vendor Services APIs, REST, and other formats.
• Conduct in-depth functional analysis to design solutions, assessing a range of options such as new software development, configuring existing systems, business process redesign, evaluating new packages or systems, or a blend of these approaches.
• Create workflow charts, diagrams, and system specifications. Recommending process improvements, integration enhancements, and technological solutions that increase efficiency and optimize existing technical resources.
• Translate business requirements into actionable functional and technical designs, collaborating with developers and engineers on technical solutions.
• Perform configuration and implementation tasks, including prototyping, system integration configuration, and process documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We Would Love To Hear From You, If:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• 3+ years of experience as a business systems analyst, technical business analyst or product analyst, working in a software development environment and with cross-functional teams using agile methodologies such as Jira and Figma.
• Deep understanding of enterprise software systems and technology integrations.
• Possess a strong curiosity to understand how systems work and be hands-on throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience with various integration protocols such as XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, APIs.
• Experience with FHIR and HL7 is a strong plus.
• Reading and/or writing SQL will be a strong asset.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate, document, and create software development requirements, including leading discovery sessions with end users and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate ability to manage and accurately translate business needs into system requirements.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, including prioritization, planning, task delegation and cross-coordination within a software development organization.
• A proven track record of taking ownership and driving results in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Other Information:

• Hybrid role in Columbus, OH (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
• The essential functions of the job are usually performed in an office setting, in an indoor, temperature controlled environment.
