About the Job

Requirements

  • A B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience is required.
  • At least 8 years of overall experience in DFT, IC silicon validation, product engineering, or test engineering is required.
  • At least 2 years of managerial experience are required.
  • A strong hands-on engineering background is required; the role is expected to be technically authoritative and able to contribute directly when needed.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment and applying analytical skills is required.
  • The role requires self-management, leadership, and social skills.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills are required, including the ability to coordinate with United States-based teams across time zones and organizational boundaries.

Responsibilities

  • Develop next-generation DFT technologies and transfer DFT technologies to post-silicon projects, supporting enablement.
  • Develop characterization and validation techniques for post-silicon bring-up and production testing, covering electrical, functional, and performance characterization.
  • Coordinate with DFT and test engineering, yield, firmware, and other teams; lead methodology planning for future products and serve as the synchronization point between teams.
  • Drive alignment on tooling, flows, and coverage requirements before tape-out and first silicon.
  • Translate product requirements and silicon behavior into structured characterization plans with coverage targets, risk areas, and product quality metrics such as test time and pattern count.
  • Lead methodology transfer into execution and work with team managers to ensure tooling, methods, and engineers are in place for a smooth handoff.
  • Identify methodology gaps early in the program cycle and resolve them through cross-functional collaboration.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience developing verification environments and random-based verification for unit-level and system-level work using simulation tools, Verilog, and debug tools such as Simvision, Debussy, or VCS.
  • Experience with Specman or UVM.
  • A good understanding of RTL design using Verilog.
  • Product engineering experience.

About the Company

NVIDIA

Designs the chips and software that power AI

NVIDIA designs the chips and software that power artificial intelligence and sells complete data center systems to cloud providers, AI labs, and other businesses, along with GeForce graphics cards for gamers. Its GPUs, chips that perform thousands of calculations at once, became the main hardware for AI after researchers used them to train the AlexNet image-recognition model in 2012. NVIDIA connects many GPUs with its own processors and networking gear into servers and rack-sized computers, and developers program them through its CUDA software. These systems bring in most of its sales, and it also makes chips for cars and robots. Jensen Huang co-founded NVIDIA in 1993, and it is based in Santa Clara, California.
