IT Support Technician @ Grove Collaborative

We are currently seeking an IT Support Technician to work with our Operations technology team for the summer at the Elizabethtown Fulfillment Center. This position will be full time hours for the months of June, July and August with an option for part time hours for the remainder of the calendar year. This position is ideal for someone who is eager to develop their IT skills. Hourly pay is $25.00 per hour.

The IT Support Technician will work closely with the onsite IT Technician as a front-line responder for all end-user support issues at the Grove Fulfilment Center.

Responsibilities

Help maintain and improve the IT infrastructure and information systems that power Grove’s day-to-day operations with guidance from senior team members
Work and triage incoming tickets in FIFO (First-In-First-Out) order according to internal standards, including redirecting to other departments as needed
Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot user devices, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, label printers, laser printers, etc., in a warehouse environment
Manage user account issues, including on- and offboarding, position changes, and access troubleshooting
Monitor and maintain hardware inventory levels, initiate purchase requests, and coordinate repairs or RMAs with hardware manufacturers (Dell, Apple, etc.), and warranty repair service providers
Build and maintain a customer-centric relationship with the user base
Partner with team members at other locations for workload balancing and information sharing
Actively participate in building and refining the IT Support documentation knowledge base
Enhance your knowledge of Grove’s entire technology stack, including software, security systems, VOIP, networking, audio/video equipment

About You

You have experience troubleshooting and configuring computers. Bonus points if you have worked with imaging, deployment, or MDM technologies
You understand the nuances of working with various operating systems. Bonus points if you have used central management software such as Active Directory
You are comfortable diagnosing basic networking and wireless networking issues
You are good at juggling several tasks
You are an organized person who does not need to be asked to take action to correct clutter or tangled cables
You enjoy helping non-technical people with technical issues and teaching people how technology works
You are eager to learn in a fast-paced environment and can remain flexible in accepting often unexpected changes is priorities, duties, and responsibilities
You proactively ask questions or perform research independently when tasked with something unfamiliar to you
Bonus points if you have prior experience in IT support, or hold technical certifications
