Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.
  • Typically, 8 or more years of technical experience plus 1 year of management experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of military specifications and industry standards, including IPC.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead program technical execution.
  • Substantial experience with mixed-signal circuit design using discrete components and simulation.
  • Ability to solve complex problems without known solutions.
  • Strong computer skills, including common office applications and engineering tools.
  • Advanced experience with schematic capture, printed circuit board layout, and simulation tools such as Altium and PSPICE/LTSPICE.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to Electrical Engineers.
  • Oversee technical aspects of electrical designs for feasibility, viability, and function, including facilitating concept, design, and test readiness reviews.
  • Manage technical execution of one or more programs, with emphasis on electrical oversight.
  • Evaluate uncertainty and risks associated with requirements and designs.
  • Generate robust designs considering electrostatic discharge, electromagnetic interference, and challenging thermal environments.
  • Guide programs by providing formal peer reviews of other Electrical Engineers’ work.
  • Support manufacturing, quality, and testing of designs from concept to delivery.
  • Support and lead testing and validation of an electrical component or subsystem.
  • Perform design analysis to ensure safe operation and compliance with designated requirements.
  • Assist in establishing company engineering standards, training, and guidelines.
  • Provide technical support to customers.
  • Support proposal and presentation preparation and business development activities.
  • Mentor and support more junior engineers.
  • Assist in managing personnel, participate in candidate assessments, and conduct routine performance reviews.
