Requirements

  • The candidate must be proficient in comprehending schematics, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams, mechanical blueprints, welding, and fabrication.
  • The candidate must be able to operate maintenance vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • The candidate must be able to perform basic electrical repairs.
  • The candidate must be able to arc weld using stick and MIG welding.
  • The candidate must be able to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on trucks and heavy equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns.
  • Perform needed repairs.
  • Assist with the installation of utilities and equipment.
  • Comply with all safety requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
