- Completion of an accredited ultrasound program is required.
- The candidate must be registered or registry-eligible with the appropriate credentialing body.
- The candidate must have strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging protocols and sterile techniques.

- Perform a full range of ultrasound examinations within the imaging department’s scope of service.
- Demonstrate proficiency in obstetric-gynecologic, abdominal, and vascular ultrasound techniques.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a Picture Archiving and Communication System environment.
- Apply sterile techniques to assist with invasive procedures when necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
