- A technical diploma or degree relevant to the sector, such as electrotechnical, electronic, or mechatronic studies, or proven experience in the field.
- Experience sizing and programming electronic products for industrial automation.
- Knowledge of industrial automation products.
- Knowledge and use of Schneider Electric programming packages or programming packages from other manufacturers, including C++.
- Knowledge and use of the Office package.
- Be responsible for developing industrial automation solutions for customers in the assigned geographical area, including conducting site surveys at existing plants and for new projects.
- Support Rexel sales representatives during customer negotiations and provide training to internal personnel and Rexel customers on the Industrial Automation business unit.
- Provide a consultative approach to customers by supporting and guiding purchasing decisions, assisting with plant design and programming, commissioning plants, configuring parameters, and verifying correct functionality.
- Assist maintenance personnel in identifying the most suitable product or solution.
- Knowledge and use of AS400, Board, and CRM systems.
