Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in real estate fund accounting, with a proven track record of managing fund financial reporting, audits, and operations in a dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the financial reporting process for Yieldstreet’s real estate funds, ensuring timely and accurate review of financial statements, NAV calculations, quarterly/annual investor reports, and other regulatory filings.
  • Manage the coordination and execution of year-end audits and tax filings, ensuring accurate submissions and liaising with auditors and tax advisors on complex issues.
  • Review and analyze fund performance, cash flow projections, and capital calls to provide strategic insights to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the timely execution of investor distributions, ensuring the accuracy of capital allocations and compliance with partnership agreements and fund structures.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including cash flow management and transaction processing confirming all fund activity is correctly recorded and maintained.
  • Enhance internal controls, procedures, and practices to mitigate risk and improve operational efficiency across the fund management platform.
  • Assist with the recording of fund transactions, managing investor capital contributions, syndications, redemptions, and other key operational activities.
  • Collaborate with the Legal and Compliance teams to address inquiries from external examiners.
  • Actively engage with Investor Relations to support investor communications, including responding to investor inquiries, coordinating fund performance updates, and ensuring transparency in reporting.
  • Contribute to the quarterly valuation process through management of the timeline and collaboration with our internal investments team, ensuring accurate reflection of asset performance within our fund administrator’s books.
