  • Four years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function.
  • Experience executing full-cycle FP&A functions, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company setting.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a gTech Ads vendor operating expense forecast from drivers on top of an automated baseline, incorporating risks and opportunities from vendor managers and business changes from vertical finance partners.
  • Track AI-driven and operational efficiency savings across verticals, distinguishing committed from realized savings, and verify that planned savings reflected in plans and slides appear in vendor headcount and the profit and loss statement.
  • Create and maintain cost-per-case, cost-per-hour, and productivity measures by vendor, site, and workflow.
  • Identify and size opportunities to consolidate vendors and sites, harmonize rates, and change the vendor mix; present recommendations at a quarterly vendor economics review chaired by the Finance Lead.

  • Provide the best available view of vendor and operating expense costs, risks, and opportunities across verticals and within them to support strategic vendor and operating expense decisions.
  • Work closely with vendor managers, operations leaders, gSO, and finance business partners in India and Mountain View to provide data, insight, and challenge for business leaders' decisions.
  • Help ensure committed savings are real, sustainable, and visible in the profit and loss statement.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with vendor, business process outsourcing (BPO), or shared-services economics, including rate cards, staffing and work-driver models, productivity, and cost to serve.
  • Experience reconciling operational data, such as hours and volumes, against financial data, such as invoices and actuals.
  • Experience with SQL, business intelligence (BI) or analytics tools, and generative AI tools in finance workflows.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders without formal authority, including challenging plans with data.
  • Ability to work across time zones with distributed teams in India and the United States, and to turn complex analysis into a clear commercial recommendation.

About the company

Google runs the world's most used search engine and free services such as YouTube, Android, and Gmail, and it builds the Gemini AI models that work inside them. In 2017, its researchers invented the transformer, the neural network design behind ChatGPT and most other AI chatbots. People use these services without paying, and Google earns most of its money from ads placed beside search results and YouTube videos. Businesses rent computing power and Gemini models through Google Cloud, and Google also sells subscriptions and Pixel phones. Larry Page and Sergey Brin founded Google in 1998 as Stanford PhD students; it is based in Mountain View, California, United States, and is the main business of parent company Alphabet.
