Requirements
  • The candidate must have 5–8 years of experience in content marketing, lifecycle or email marketing, or marketing communications, ideally in membership or community-led organizations where segmentation is critical.
  • The candidate must have experience working with lawyers on communications.
  • The candidate must be able to own and execute a content calendar end-to-end, including planning, stakeholder alignment, and sign-off.
  • The candidate must have strong copywriting and editing skills and be able to maintain a consistent brand voice adaptable to members, sponsors, and prospects.
  • The candidate must have a deep understanding of email and lifecycle marketing tactics, including audience segmentation, nurture and re-engagement flows, and measurement.
  • The candidate must be able to translate business and product strategy into high-performing external-facing content.
  • The candidate must be a power user of marketing automation tools, ideally HubSpot, or other major email service provider or customer relationship management platforms.
  • The candidate must be comfortable interpreting open, click, and conversion data and applying learnings to iterate messaging.
  • The candidate must have everyday proficiency in artificial intelligence content tools and sound judgment about when human review is essential.
  • The candidate must be comfortable acting as the voice behind sponsor- and member-facing communications.
Responsibilities
  • Lead content planning, production, and editorial operations for newsletters and nurture sequences across core Suite audiences, managing calendars, contributors, and workflow efficiency through clear processes and everyday artificial intelligence tool usage.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for key initiatives and product launches, collaborating cross-functionally to craft content for awareness, activation, retention, and new sponsorship engagement.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure messaging across organic social and earned channels aligns with lifecycle and brand strategy.
  • Repurpose internal content into thought leadership, case studies, and demand-generation materials for outbound and owned channels.
  • Drive performance for content and prospect nurture across email and web by testing messaging, analyzing engagement data, and applying insights to improve opens, conversions, and strategic impact, while partnering on flow architecture and analytics.
  • Own sponsor-facing communications alongside member-facing content, adapting tone and approach as appropriate.
  • Manage a roster of contractors, freelancers, and internal collaborators to achieve editorial quality and timely delivery.
