Requirements
  • Experience working within automotive, asset finance, or similar vehicle-related data environments, with exposure to pricing, valuation or forecasting problems.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering dashboards or data products end-to-end - from defining the problem and scoping through to building polished outputs for external customers or in a consulting-style environment.
  • Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools to improve productivity and delivery speed along with experience working with modern development workflows including GitHub.
  • Strong SQL skills (SQL Server or Postgres) and experience working with APIs or external data sources.
  • Comfortable using programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and data preparation.
  • Experience working with cloud-based workflows for data pipelines, workflow automation, or repeatable data processes.
Responsibilities
  • Build strong familiarity with RedBook’s vehicle data, pricing products and the broader automotive market and using that context to improve the quality of our analysis and products.
  • Work with a range of internal and external data sources, using SQL and APIs to extract, clean and combine data for analysis and reporting.
  • Use modern coding tooling including AI-assisted workflows to speed up analysis and improve how work is delivered.
  • Build and own dashboards and data products end-to-end - from understanding requirements and defining metrics through to building, deploying and improving outputs used by internal teams and customers.
  • Design and maintain data pipelines that automate how data is prepared, validated and delivered, improving consistency, quality and timeliness.
