  • A valid Nurse Practitioner license with completed certification in Family, Adult, or Adult/Gero practice is required.
  • A Master's degree or higher is required.
  • A minimum of 3–5+ years of direct people leadership or management experience is required.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of Nurse Practitioner or related nursing work experience is required.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Possession of or eligibility for Drug Enforcement Administration registration is required.
  • Proficiency with office software, including Electronic Health Records, Scheduling Software, and RingCentral applications, is required.
  • Microsoft Office experience is required.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a dyad partner to the Chief Medical Director, bringing together operational and clinical excellence to lead the community.
  • Define, optimize, and evolve standard operating procedures and business process standardization across the enterprise.
  • Work with system and technology end-users to develop optimal system workflows and implement cross-functional process improvements.
  • Document operational policies and procedures.
  • Partner with Product leadership to participate in requirements gathering for system or operational enhancements or selection across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Clinical leadership to optimize and maximize use of selected technology.
  • Lead, persuade, influence, and negotiate regarding market operations, the Operations Department, and supporting departments.
  • Assess enterprise and company implications of subtle detail changes.
  • Track issues and risks and follow through on resolution with departmental leads.
  • Provide operational expertise to market leadership to contribute to organizational growth and profitability.
  • Serve in a leadership role by providing subject matter expertise, guidance, and direction to teams and peers.
  • Execute against P&L goals and targets while remaining consulted and informed.
  • Directly oversee staff within an assigned geographical area.
  • Travel locally up to 50% as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience in home care, hospice, palliative care, or geriatrics is strongly preferred; other complex patient health care experience is also beneficial.
  • Prior start-up experience is preferred.

WellBe Senior Medical has appointed four new leadership team members as the home-based medical care provider scales operations across the US. The company now serves over 120,000 patients in eight states. The new hires include Shafina Shehnaz as chief financial officer, bringing experience from Optum Health where she served as CFO of the care delivery arm. Sabita Lahiri joins as chief transformation officer after leading clinical strategy at Landmark Health for seven years. Dr Katrina Booth, a board-certified geriatrician, becomes chief medical officer, whilst Cammile Bird takes on the role of senior vice president of engagement. CEO Dr Jeff Kang said the appointments will help deliver personalised at-home care as WellBe enters "a pivotal chapter of growth".
