About the job
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Customer service experience is required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are required.

- Availability to work variable hours between 5:00 AM and 6:30 PM, including weekends and some holidays, is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work around hot equipment and cleaning chemicals, handle repetitive tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Supervise and support baristas and team members during shifts.
- Assist with hiring, training, and coaching, providing ongoing feedback and performance support.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, engagement, and retention.
- Ensure team members follow company policies, food safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Provide friendly, welcoming, and efficient customer service by example.
- Greet customers, take orders, craft beverages, and process payments accurately.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Build relationships with regular customers and community members while creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist with inventory, supply ordering, and cost control.
- Monitor cash handling and assist with daily cash-outs.
- Support promotions and seasonal offerings to encourage sales and repeat business.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Help ensure point-of-sale systems and daily operations run smoothly.
- Oversee cleaning and maintenance of coffee equipment during shifts.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and coordinate repairs when needed.
- Ensure equipment and facilities are properly maintained and functioning.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Supervisory or coffee shop/restaurant management experience is preferred.
- HACCP certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain it.
- Proficiency with basic computer programs, including point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office.
