Requirements
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration is required.
  • At least 8 years of corporate financial or accounting experience is required.
  • Ability to present complex analysis clearly and work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, including advanced proficiency in data mining and forecasting model development.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes, United States generally accepted accounting principles, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, and internal controls.
  • Strong systems knowledge, including Oracle, enterprise resource planning systems, and Business Objects.
  • Solid background and experience in profit and loss management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for preparing and presenting written briefs and summaries for internal communication and coordination across departments.

Responsibilities
  • Perform financial planning and variance analysis, return on working capital calculations, margin analysis, monthly forecasting, and month-end close activities.
  • Develop and coordinate detailed program-specific operational and financial processes across departments for effective rollout and implementation of new programs.
  • Serve as the key finance business partner and support a customer-facing role within the organization.
  • Partner strategically with executive management and business partners.
  • Present analytical conclusions to management regarding special projects and leadership activities.
  • Lead special projects related to new processes, issues, or structural changes.
  • Develop forward-looking forecasts and budgets.
  • Prepare and present accurate monthly expense summaries, including direct costs, with concise action-oriented commentary and analysis for designated higher authority.
  • Support the month-end close process, including proposing accounting corrections, preparing accrual entries, conducting margin analysis, and preparing operating expense variance analysis and entries.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for distribution to the business.
  • Review costs proactively each month and flag changes for inclusion in forecasts based on actual results.
  • Analyze monthly revenue against forecast, including details of underperformance or overperformance.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships across the business to understand business drivers, goals, and partner and internal customer needs.
  • Develop and report operating metrics that support financial performance analysis, including profitability of programs or parts.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Provide late-night, weekend, or holiday coverage as needed during month-, quarter-, and year-end requirements.

Arrow terminated one distribution agreement and is restructuring another. For the third quarter, the company expects revenue between $9.6 billion and $10.2 billion. Hedge fund holder count increased to 45 from 43.

By James Goulding on August 13, 2026 Arrow Electronics is hoping to accelerate partners' adoption and monetisation of AI and cloud through the establishment of networked experience centres in Georgia, USA and Stockholm, Sweden. Serving as strategic hubs for vendors, channel partners and end customers in Europe and North America, the centres give partners access to over 100 pre-built and tested solutions and the abilityto create custom solutions with support from Arrow engineers and technicians. Nick Bannister, President of Arrow's Enterprise Computing Solutions Business in Europe, said: "Our mission is to simplify technology, enabling our channel partners to use IT with confidence to solve real- world problems. Through global connectivity of our experience centres, we can test use cases, create demos and help channel partners understand how to run and secure workloads anywhere in the world, allowing them to create new business opportunities." Arrow's book-to-bill ratios remained above parity, with backlog extending into 2027. Growth was broad-based across aerospace, defence, industrial, and transportation sectors. The company improved its balance sheet, reducing gross debt by $300 million sequentially to $2.2 billion. Operating cash flow totalled $318 million for the quarter. For the third quarter of 2026, Arrow expects sales between $9.6 billion and $10.2 billion, with non-GAAP EPS ranging from $4.83 to $5.03.
