Responsibilities
  • Work on the design of construction projects in Ireland and worldwide, providing specialist consultancy input across a wide range of sectors.
  • Carry out conceptual and detailed structural engineering design and analysis with guidance from experienced engineers.
  • Use maths, science, and problem-solving skills to design sustainable structures.
  • Define and translate clients’ needs into designs for buildings, infrastructure, facilities, and services, with sustainability at the forefront.
  • Develop greater responsibility and autonomy over time and work toward Chartership through accredited professional development programmes from IStructE or ICE.
Desired Qualifications
  • Be accredited with or on course to achieve a BEng/MEng degree, or equivalent, in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering.
  • Understand parametric modelling techniques such as Grasshopper or Dynamo, or have experience with at least one modern programming language such as Python, C#, or VB.

Triple win at the MEP Middle East Awards 2026

Triple win at the MEP Middle East Awards 2026. MENA 14 October 2026 Its MENA team is incredibly proud to have been recognised with three accolades at the MEP Middle East Awards 2026, recognising excellence in MEP design and celebrating projects and individuals helping shape the region's rapidly evolving built environment. Winning MEP Consultancy of the Year reflects another exceptional year for Cundall's MENA MEP team. Throughout the past 12 months, the team has delivered increasingly complex and large-scale projects across the region, while continuing to raise the bar for quality, innovation and collaboration. A key achievement has been the continued rollout of Cundall's digital engineering programme, which has transformed project delivery and enhanced efficiency across its regional operations. Schneider Electric, was named Sustainable Project of the Year, further cementing its position as a benchmark for sustainable, smart and inclusive workplaces. The project has achieved a perfect 100/100 SmartScore Platinum rating, alongside LEED Platinum and WELL Equity certifications. Adding to the celebrations, Mick Reilly, Building Services Director, was awarded MEP Executive of the Year. Cundall wins RICS Australia award for Environmental Impact. Australia 18 September 2026 Cundall is delighted to announce that its national Green Star team has been recognised at the RICS Australia Awards 2026, winning the Judith Knott Environmental Impact Award. The award recognises the team's outstanding contribution to sustainable development across Australia and celebrates more than two decades of leadership in delivering measurable environmental outcomes for clients and communities. Since 2003, Cundall's Green Star specialists have helped deliver more than 500 Green Star certifications across almost 7.5 million square metres of real estate, including more than 50 world-leading 6 Star Green Star projects. The recognition reflects the passion, technical expertise and commitment of its sustainability professionals who work alongside clients to turn ambitious sustainability goals into tangible outcomes. Cundall expands fire engineering to Scotland

Cundall expands fire engineering to Scotland. UK and Europe 10 August 2026 Cundall is expanding its fire engineering services to the Scottish office with the appointment of Kirsty Walker. Having graduated Loughborough University with a First-Class honours degree, Kirsty brings a wealth of knowledge to its fire engineering team. Her appointment is the beginning of its expansion of fire engineering, a service which Cundall is delighted to welcome to its Edinburgh office. Discussing her appointment, Kirsty said, "I'm really excited to be joining Cundall and to be leading the growth of the fire engineering team in Scotland. Cundall is known for technical excellence across a range of disciplines, making it a great place to be. The fire engineering team has built an excellent reputation and is delivering across a wide range of projects. I look forward to working closely with colleagues both locally and internationally to support clients with creative, compliant and effective fire safety solutions." Kirsty joins Cundall following several years at Arup where she worked on a range of high-profile projects, including the redevelopment of Leeds Station, a project which improved user experience and safety through facility upgrade and introduction of new entrances. She has also worked in healthcare, workplace and aviation. Her extensive experience and technical expertise in fire engineering make her a valuable addition to the team as Cundall continue to grow its presence. Outside of work, Kirsty is a competitive distance runner who has represented both Great Britain and Scotland on the international stage. Kinga's win reflects her outstanding contribution to some of the most complex infrastructure and building projects in Poland and beyond. As Public Health Associate, Kinga leads a team of specialists delivering innovative public health engineering solutions across major infrastructure, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Her collaborative approach, technical expertise and commitment to engineering excellence have made her a trusted leader, both within Cundall and across the wider industry.
