  • Ability to meet the stated physical requirements, including frequent movement, keyboard use and handling objects up to 25 pounds, occasional handling of objects up to 50 pounds, and rare climbing.
  • Ability to work business hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional weekends as needed, and fulfill an on-call requirement.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and author communication materials for internal and external distribution.
  • Interview internal resources, collect relevant information, and develop materials for media releases and communication sessions.
  • Serve as a resource to internal staff on how best to position and deliver internal and external communications.
  • Schedule and follow up on the timely release of communications and media information.
  • Track results of media-related activity and report success.
  • Assist in developing strategic communication messaging by working with leadership across the ministries.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
