Requirements
  • Minimum of an associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Technology or equivalent experience
  • Proven work experience as a field service technician or related role
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
  • Ability to travel up to 60% and work according to a changing schedule
  • Must carry oneself in a professional manner, maintain positive interactions with both co-workers and customers
Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer calls
  • Meet with customers to determine the nature of the service or repair
  • Conduct routine equipment servicing out in the field
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment failures
  • Repair equipment and replace faulty parts
  • Install and test new equipment
  • Provide preventive equipment maintenance
  • Provide technical training on new equipment installations
  • Program VFD’s, temperature controllers, etc.
  • Complete job reports
  • Efficiently manage all service calls, providing high-quality customer service and repairs for jobs of all sizes

Therma-Tron-X expanding facilities

Therma-Tron-X is expanding its facility in Sturgeon Bay’s Industrial Park with a 3,300-square-foot maintenance building and a second-story mezzanine inside the original building at 1155 S. Neenah Ave. The addition, which the Sturgeon Bay Industrial Park Review Team recently approved, will more than double the size of the maintenance facility.
