Requirements
  • 5+ years experience
  • Skilled storyteller and trend setter with an eye for detail and perfect grammar
  • Ability to adjust brand voice and tone based on audience
  • Experience writing display, social (organic and paid), email, event, and other digital performance marketing channels
  • Experience writing short- and long-form and conceptual campaigns
  • Experience with events and experiential marketing concept and campaign development
  • Ability to apply critical and conceptual thinking to brand and marketing strategies to develop standout creative and content experiences
  • Comfortable creating and iterating on copy that will be used in A/B product testing or performance based marketing tests
  • Experience creating content for social campaigns across all major social platforms
  • Experience working with agile teams, including quick adaptation and iteration
  • Experience collaborating with external creative agencies and freelancers
Responsibilities
  • Partner with design, marketing, and product teams to create and execute distinct and engaging marketing copy that resonates with Plaid’s diverse audiences
  • Execute and support maintenance of Plaid’s brand voice guidelines across all brand touch points
  • Collaborate with designers and other copywriters to ensure the big, conceptual ideas behind the brand are engaging in both visuals and copy
  • Collaborate with the marketing team across a variety of channels to develop copy for email, social and display, events, video, web, sales collateral, and more
  • Identify gaps in our existing messaging and define ways to strengthen our brand and voice
