About the job
- Deep experience building large language model-based systems and retrieval-augmented generation architectures.
- Strong proficiency with machine learning operations tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, and Airflow.
- Advanced scripting proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Rust.
- Expertise deploying models on Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Ability to work independently with broad responsibilities.
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional artificial intelligence and machine learning experience.
- Applicants must be eligible for Secret or Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information access and must meet government security investigation requirements.
- Independently develop and optimize machine learning models, pipelines, and platform components.
- Build retrieval-augmented generation architectures and high-performing inference systems.
- Create scalable infrastructure to support training, experimentation, and deployment.
- Lead the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning models into production systems.
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to accelerate mission-driven insights.
- Experience with scientific datasets or multi-domain research workflows.
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services Bedrock, Databricks, vector databases, or comparable technologies.
- A strong foundation in prompt engineering or artificial intelligence agents.
- Experience working with federal clients.
- Intermediate certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional, Cybersecurity Framework Reference, Federal Information Technology Security Professional-Manager, GIAC Security Essentials, Security+, or Systems Security Certified Practitioner.
- Advanced certifications such as SecurityX/CASP+, GIAC Cloud Security Automation, GIAC Security Leadership, or Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
