CDL B Truck Driver
About the job
- A Commercial Driver’s License Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or a Commercial Driver’s License Class A driver’s license.
- One year of Commercial Driver’s License Class B delivery driving experience or two years of Commercial Driver’s License Class A driving experience.
- A current Department of Transportation medical card.
- A clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Heavy lifting experience.
- Must pass a background check and a pre-employment Department of Transportation drug screen.
- Must be able to continually lift 50–100 pounds of material throughout the day, with some lifting over 100 pounds required.
- Safely deliver products to job sites and physically unload material according to the customer’s request.
- Receive materials in the warehouse, load trucks, and process inventory.
- Deliver shingles to one- and two-story homes using industry-specific heavy equipment.
- Load trucks with materials scheduled for the day’s deliveries while complying with Department of Transportation regulations for securing and distributing weight limits.
- Unload trucks and receive merchandise at the warehouse.
- Move materials and items from receiving to their designated areas.
- Flatbed with Moffett operating experience.
- Knuckleboom and box truck operating experience.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission.
- Flatbed, knuckleboom, laddervator, and crane experience.
