Requirements
  • A Colorado Substitute Teaching License is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement standards-aligned curriculum.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences, and establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
  • Differentiate lessons for students with learning plans.
  • Integrate technology to provide a variety of learning materials and resources for educational activities.
  • Observe, evaluate, encourage, and provide feedback on students’ progress and development in the coursework.
  • Implement data-driven instruction.
  • Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures, maintaining discipline in accordance with school rules and disciplinary systems, and applying appropriate disciplinary measures where necessary.
  • Participate in team, school, and parent meetings.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.
  • Two or more years of substitute teaching experience, preferably in an elementary school, is preferred.
  • Experience with Infinite Campus and Google products is preferred.
