Requirements
  • A PhD in anthropology with an emphasis in archaeology.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience serving as a project lead.
  • Expertise in cultural resource management and compliance.
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
  • An in-depth understanding of anthropological research methods and fieldwork.
  • Understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word; proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio; and the ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire project and ensure alignment with USDA FPAC Environmental Activities Division environmental compliance and cultural resource management objectives.
  • Coordinate with team members, develop work plans, and manage timelines to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the Environmental Activities Division Contracting Officer's Representative and Field Project Officer.
  • Ensure that field guides meet required standards and specifications.
  • Perform duties competently and professionally while meeting milestones and delivery schedules.
  • Produce work products that are thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and compliant with established criteria.

  • The ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders and team members.
