Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist - Home Health
About the job
- A master's or doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
- ASHA Certification or documentation of passing the PRAXIS exam and completing a Clinical Fellow/Externship is required.
- A Speech Language Pathologist license in Colorado is required.
- Current CPR certification must be maintained.
- A valid driver's license and auto insurance are required.
- Availability for after-school hours is required.
- The role requires a part-time caseload of 10–20 visits per week.
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver therapy supporting speech, language, articulation, fluency, feeding, and swallowing.
- Educate and support families to encourage therapy carryover at home.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in line with home health guidelines.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
- Provide in-home therapy to children from birth through age 18 in their natural home environment.
- At least one year of clinical experience in Speech Language Pathology is preferred, but not required.
