Requirements
  • Two to four years of human resources or administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow established processes with accuracy and consistency and know when to ask questions instead of guessing.
  • Willingness to learn new systems quickly; familiarity with Greenhouse or ADP is a plus, while willingness to learn them is required.
  • Curiosity about artificial intelligence and willingness to learn AI-enabled tools.
  • Reliability and attention to detail, including the ability to flag mistakes early.

Responsibilities
  • Post openings, schedule interviews, and coordinate hiring logistics for pick-and-pack associates and machine operators while maintaining the candidate pipeline for the team that makes final decisions.
  • Run new-hire onboarding and orientation logistics, including paperwork and first-day walkthroughs.
  • Handle administrative offboarding steps, including paperwork, system updates, and checklist follow-through.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions, document details accurately, and escalate employee-relations issues to the manager or generalist.
  • Support administration of compensation, benefits, and leave programs by processing paperwork, updating records, and following established procedures.
  • Track and document required training completion, including safety training, anti-harassment training, and powered industrial truck certifications, and maintain accurate leave, workers' compensation, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration records.
  • Support team-member committees with engagement-activity planning and execution logistics.
  • Assist with bi-weekly payroll data entry and timekeeping accuracy for hourly and salaried employees, and support open-enrollment logistics by distributing and collecting materials.
  • Learn ADP and other human-resources systems well enough to perform routine data entry, reporting, and record-keeping, and adopt AI-enabled tools as they become part of the workflow.

  • Coursework or early certification progress toward SHRM-CP or a similar credential.
  • Experience supporting a warehouse, fulfillment center, or distribution center.
  • Exposure to AI or automation tools used in human-resources operations.

Grove Collaborative posts Q1 revenue of $36.2M, returns to positive EBITDA after platform issues

Grove Collaborative reported first-quarter net revenue of $36.2 million, down 16.8% year-over-year, but posted its second consecutive quarter of positive adjusted EBITDA at $0.3 million. CEO Jeff Yurcisin said the e-commerce platform disruptions that affected 2025 performance are "largely behind us" and expects the first quarter to mark the revenue trough for the year. The revenue decline stemmed from fewer orders and a smaller active customer base, which fell 18.5% to 553,000. However, gross margin expanded 180 basis points to 54.8%, driven by the Grove Green Rewards loyalty programme, which enabled the company to shift from broad discounting to rewards-based incentives. Management said repeat order rates amongst recent customer cohorts have recovered to pre-migration levels, signalling improving customer experience.
