What believers are saying

- IllFonic's Halloween: The Game launches September 8, 2026 with Balor support.
- Balor's March 2026 deal deepens recurring revenue from live support and catalog updates.
What critics are saying
- Balor inherits over 60 titles, but aging catalogs decay without hit launches by 2027.
- SCP: 5K remains Early Access, tying Balor to unfinished titles and review risk.
- If IllFonic's September 2026 releases underperform, Balor's new-label thesis loses credibility.

- March 2026 acquisition of Humble Games gave Balor 60-plus established indie titles.
- Alan Patmore and Mark Nash bring Humble Games publishing relationships and operator credibility.
- Balor's Triple-I positioning targets premium indie stewardship, not volume publishing.
