About the Job

Requirements

  • A diploma or equivalent background is required.
  • Solid understanding of statistical process control, SWR, QDR, Micron Central, and Klarity is required.
  • Basic knowledge of fabrication process areas, including photolithography, dry etch, diffusion, chemical vapor deposition, wet etch, plating, ion implantation, physical vapor deposition, and chemical-mechanical planarization, is required.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently with minimal direct supervision is required.
  • Ability to make sound judgments, including escalating problems to process integration engineering when appropriate, is required.
  • Ability to work shifts is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist process integration engineers in coordinating and troubleshooting daily line issues, including disposition of line deviations and engineering job submissions for analysis.
  • Assist with inline inspection and coordinate non-routine metrology/RDA inspection for research and development experiments.
  • Support process flow setup activities for production and short-loop flow.
  • Extract, analyze, and summarize data from SWR and Conversion experiments in report format and make recommendations to engineering based on the data.
  • Manage wafer shipment logistics between fabs, including swap lots and fab-to-fab offloads, for technology transfer and yield learning.
  • Monitor and publish regular updates on priority and work-in-progress lot movements.

About the Company

Micron Technology

Makes memory and storage chips for AI and PCs

Micron Technology designs and manufactures memory and storage chips, mainly DRAM and NAND flash, used in data centers, PCs, phones, cars and industrial equipment. It is one of only three companies that make HBM, the stacked high-bandwidth memory placed beside processors in AI servers, and it is the largest memory chipmaker based in the United States. Unlike chip designers that outsource production, Micron runs its own fabs and assembly sites in the United States and across Asia. It earns money by selling chips, memory modules and solid-state drives to cloud providers, device makers and distributors. Micron was founded in 1978 and is headquartered in Boise, Idaho.
